Equally at home in a ball cap or a ball gown, well bred, well read, and well rounded, Angela Lester is the cosmopolitan woman. Her hazel eyes miss very little. She finds everything interesting and much of it amusing. As a result, her creations convey a pleasant sense of humor, a sophisticated whimsey. Clever but chic, they fit the many roles of the modern Mademoiselle--soccer mom to socialite and everything in between. Angela is a woman on her way, and the really enchanting thing is that she enjoys the journey as much as she desires the destination. Whether managing high rises in Houston, Texas, or selling office supplies in Magnolia, Arkansas, she brings energy and enthusiasm to every undertaking. Her positive approach and her irrepressible ebullience enhance the moment, create a momentum, and shape time and tasks in a unique manner. Following the scriptural admonition, she does with her heart what her hands find to do.
Nevertheless, she understands the unwritten rule of the universe is change or die. "Moving on" is the way she puts it. Not one to settle in and fossilize, Angela is always seeking new ways to channel her creative powers, so it is not surprising that she gleaned an opportunity from a childhood experience of crafting rings from pine straw and selling them for a quarter each at the bus stop near her home. Impelled by that memory, Angela began producing cigar box purses, which sold well until the market became saturated. Casting about for a new direction led her to combine three of her loves--purses, pins, and painting--into a distinctive line of handbags, Cosmopolitan Ladies Club, which in only two years has not only won the hearts and accessorized the ensembles of ladies nation wide but has been recognized by and featured in "Women's Wear Daily". In addition, the line is now being showcased by the Atlanta and New York markets as well as "Excessorize with Marilyn" in the Dallas market
Where Angela Lester and Cosmopolitan Ladies Club go in the future remains to be seen, but the direction appears to be up, definitely, and the manner will certainly be in style with a smile.
